Alexa Wayman, LMHC, (She/Her)

Alexa has multiple roles in the Seattle community, all with the goal of advocating for equity while cultivating health and empowerment. She is a Licensed School and Mental Health Counselor. Working in school systems for nine years, she has a depth of understanding of how our interconnectedness impacts us constantly. She also knows how to navigate these systems and can support families with firsthand experience in this journey. Working with youth, adults, and families, she aims to provide pathways toward holistic healing and growth through self-efficacy, motivation, and balance.

Her therapeutic lens is existential and person-centered. Alexa takes an integrative approach, calling on DBT skills, family systems, and psychodynamic interventions. She welcomes all clients, including  those experiencing mood disorders, LGBTQIA+ identity exploration, anxiety, depression, symptoms of post traumatic stress, and family trauma.
