YOU NEED HELP.

It’s hard to be in a relationship with someone who is suffering. We treat adults and teens and offer support to the people who love them. In our Parents / Affected Others skills group we teach parents, partners, and caregivers strategies for setting healthy boundaries, improving communication, and dealing with a family member’s overwhelming emotions.

We can also coach you to respond to risky or self-harming behaviors such as explosive anger, suicide threats, or self-harm.

ParentS - TEEN CLIENTS

We have four available Parent / Affected Others DBT Skills Groups scheduled on Monday and Thursday evenings.

For Parent(s) of TEEN clients, you will enroll in a group during intake with your child. DBT Eastside requires that at least one parent / guardian of a TEEN client attend group for 6-months. This will put you through the first cycle of our DBT Skills group with your child. While you will not be in the same room as your child (we separate out teens and parents), you will be learning the the same skills. All of our DBT Skills groups cover the same curriculum for the entire week. Whether they are adults, teens, or parents / affected others, the only variation is in the perspective that the skills are taught.

parent(s) / AFFECTED OTHERS - ADULT CLIENTS

We have four available Parents / Affected Others DBT Skills Groups scheduled on Monday and Thursday evenings.

For Parents / Affected Others of ADULT CLIENTS, once your child has enrolled in our program, contact our administrative team and we can arrange your group assignment and start date. Parents / Affected Others of ADULT CLIENTS will enroll under our “pay as you go” structure. You will only be billed for groups you attend and the fee will be at our current rate.
