DBT Skills Groups

DBT Eastside offers DBT Skills groups for adults and teens. Please consult out Group Schedule for available times.

The Skills Group program is a 1-year program during which clients attend two cycles of our 24-week skills group. Evidence has shown that by engaging in two consecutive cycles, clients have a higher likelihood of both retaining and utilizing skills that benefit of their personal and professional lives in a measurable way.

WHAT WILL I LEARN IN DBT SKILLS GROUP?

DBT Skills are not just for people in crisis. Learning DBT skills benefits everyone. Participants in our groups work through the following four modules of DBT skills:

  1. Mindfulness

  2. Distress Tolerance

  3. Interpersonal Effectiveness

  4. Emotional Regulation
