Gina Guttmann, LICSW (She/They)
Gina is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and an Approved Clinical Supervisor in Washington State. She has 30 years of experience working with clients of all ages and diverse backgrounds in school and community settings, as well as providing crisis services in hospital settings.
Gina is trained in RO-DBT, a treatment that supports those struggling with issues of over-control, including perfectionism, depression, anxiety and people-pleasing. She is also trained in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotional Freedom Therapy (tapping) and Structural Family Therapy. Gina blends cognitive and somatic modalities of healing, which means addressing thought patterns, as well as physical sensations and nervous system regulation, where trauma is often stored in the body.
Gina is passionate about life-long learning and aspires to bring warmth, compassion, humility, authenticity and humor to her clients in therapy. She co-teaches RO-DBT skills classes and works with tweens, teens and adults in individual therapy.
