Our Specialized Services

In addition to DBT, our staff are trained in and utilize the special modalities listed below to help their clients heal and grow.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy

Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is a type of behavioral therapy. It was originally developed to help treat those suffering from major suicidal thoughts and borderline personality disorder, but it can also help treat a wide range of other mental illnesses, such as depression and anxiety.

Exposure and Response Therapy

ERP is a type of behavioral therapy that helps people with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) learn to cope with their obsessions and compulsions. Developed by British psychologist Victor Meyer in the 1960’s, ERP is considered the primary evidence-based treatment for OCD.

Radically Openness Dialectical Behavioral Therapy

For those interested in addressing perfectionism, treatment-resistant anxiety, self-critical thoughts, people-pleasing, or difficulty letting go of control, Radically Open (RO-DBT) might be the right fit for you. A newer form of DBT treatment dedicated to treating disorders of “overcontrol”, our gold standard RO-DBT program can provide the same incredible results as standard DBT, just using a different set of skills.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based psychotherapy treatment that helps people heal from trauma and other distressing life experiences. Developed by Dr. Francine Shapiro in 1987, EMDR is found to be highly effective for post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), panic attacks, eating disorders, addictions, and anxiety.
